Message from the East – December 2020

I would like you to request your attendance to our last Stated Communication of 2020. We have the pleasure of hearing our own Senior Warden, R.W. Brother Alex Herbert as our speaker. His presentation will be JOHN BROWN: MASONIC MYTHS AND LOCAL CONNECTIONS, which will examine the complicated relationship between the abolitionist John Brown and Freemasonry, and the twists of fate that bound his legacy to the Fraternity even after his death.

As we end 2020 and start our Lodge’s next twoyear cycle with our newly elected and appointed officers, I want to thank for being a member of one of the most unique lodges in the history of Freemasonry. As other lodges were forced to suspend their operations during the past year, our Lodge was able to continue to provide Masonic Light and Knowledge around the globe. We continue to be at the forefront of how Masonry adapts to changes in the modern world.

Over the next two-years our Lodge Education Officer will continue to provide us with highly sought after speakers, that I am sure you will enjoy. Please reach out to him if you have a specific topic or speaker that you would like to have presented at our Lodge. I encourage you to attend our meetings and to take full advantage of this unique Masonic experience, and to seek out other Brothers that might enjoy our style of Freemasonry.

It is an honor to serve as your Worshipful Master and I look forward to seeing you regularly in the coming months to experience the fellowship that only our Lodge can provide.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

W Brother Brett A. Gordon
